Hi everyone, One of our list members had recently asked about a "David Cady." While checking for Cady family on the Dutchess County, NY, genweb site, I came across a mention for a David Cady who was listed in U. S. Invalid Pension Records. Check out the Cadys who are listed on the Dutchess County website, including David: http://www.rootsweb.com/~nydutche/ Use the rootsweb search engine for the county and enter "Cady." There are a few hits. Another one was Augustus Cady, a private in the 122nd NY who was killed in the Civil War.
