Dear List - I am in search of the CADY name because my greatgrandfather's middle name was CADY and it may connect me to someone. George Cady FREDENBERG/BURG/BURGH was born in 1852 in Yates or Stueben County. (They are in the 1850 and 1860 Yates County census, but Bible record says Stueben). He was the 8th child of Anthony and Hannah (?Fox) FREDENBURGH who were residents of Yates County for quite a number of years. Anthony was also born in N.Y. Unfortunately, I have not been able to do courthouse work, but just thought I'd throw the name out to this list on the chance that it might connect in some way. Thank you for your time.
