Have you talked to any of the Cady's in your area? Or in Muskegon Co.? There is an Ezra Cady who settled in Twin Lake Mi. He is buried in the cemetery there. Another resource you can try is the Historical Archives in Lansing at the new History Center. I found divorce papers for my Puffers there. But they were not filed at the County building in Muskegon where they lived. I am sure you have heard of Reeth-Puffer School District in Muskegon County. Those Puffers were also Cady's. Hiram started the school. He was bn. Seneca Ontario Co NY 1853, he was son of Solomon. Solomon bn @1816/17 was s/o Ira John Puffer bn 1780 Shaftsbury, VT, s/o Dr. Timothy and Elizabeth (Cady) Puffer. Elizabeth was bn 1753 d. 1896 in Glenville Twp Schenectady Co NY. She was d/o Ebenezer and Prudence (Palmer) Cady. Good luck... Regards.....June
