Hinds Dave Madison Hinds of Davis died on April 19, 2002, in Davis. He was 48. He was born on April 17, 1954, in Concord. A researcher at UC Davis' veterinary labs for 20 years, he enjoyed camping, sailing and golf. His love of life will be missed by all who shared it with him. He is survived by his mother, Bernice Hinds, of Concord; two brothers, Munn Hinds and his wife Pat of New Orleans and Mark Hinds and his wife Mary of Concord; and sister, Sheri Rose Hinds of Tacoma, Wash. He is also survived by nieces Rebecca, Christina, Lynda, Amanda, Jessica, Heidi and Gretchen Hinds, and Sarah Haag, Jessica Callahan and Heather Hope. A funeral will begin at 2 p.m. Saturday at Oakmont Memorial Park, 2099 Reliez Valley Road, in Lafayette. For further information, call (925) 935-3311.
