>From the current issue of the Bancroftiana, they have a article on how two Professors from Kennesaw State University, used the Bancroft Library, to do some of their research. In looking at the site found a few pages that are from San Francisco and California. One was of women working at the Ghiratdelli Chocolate Factory, in San Francisco and other one is of posters and paintings of "Golden Girls: The California Gold Rush." There could be more about California, but have not checked the entire site. Also be sure to check the links under the full images, for more information, on what was happening at the time.
