Hi List, Where would I find a police report (probably long gone) or a death certificate or obit from the local paper of 1890. It would be for Alexander Greer who is buried in Alhambra Cemetery in Martinez. He died Sept 12 1890 at the age of 57 from an accident in Byron. He was born in VA. Any help will be appreciated. Eileen, Not sure how much help it will be, but I believe in shots in the dark. <grin> There is an East County Historical Museum in Brentwood, CA (neighboring Byron). Their web site lists a local historian with her e-mail. http://www.theschoolbell.com/history/ Hope it helps!
