Surnames: Ginocchio Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/2V.2ADI/317 Message Board Post: I recently found a World War II military photo collection belonging to my parents, and one tinted portrait has a signature of a Johnny Ginocchio. Because my parents lived in San Francisco, I'm guessing that this man may have been stationed there at some point or had some connection to my mother's Italian family. I found an online database that references an August John Ginocchio who was born in Concord & died in Walnut Creek with a living spouse and living children. I'm wondering if someone would be so kind as to check the local telephone directory to see if this family still resides in Contra Costa County.
