Hi, I am new to the list and hope someone can give me some insight on how to search for a death that occurred in Contra Costa, CA. Does the county have a complete list of deaths that occurred in the county? I am looking in the 1970's. If I have the exact date of death can I write to the county and will they locate the information for me? Where would I write? And what is the cost for the search? Thank you for any help.
