Brewen or Annie Brewen as she evidently referred to herself, yes, she was or would have been my great grandmother Cook. She married an Ancel Cook in 1873 in Contra Costa, California. In turn they had several children, the last which was my mother's dad and consequently my grandfather. Although he passed away not to far distant where my mother and I were living at the time of his death, neither my mother nor I had ever known him. Which is really pretty sad, when you get right down to it. Just another one of those living by the stories that former wives and or husbands tell o9f their marriage partners. She died in Union County, Oregon in 1934 or 35. I am still running this to ground. I have kept your email address and will follow up on this if you would like as I believe by the way I interpret your letter that we, too, are re3lated, and this being the case, there is still another, though he lives in California, and another on top! of this that has pursued hte Brewen name for quite some time.
