In a letter from F. Adele Bennett, from Dec. 12, 1929, from Richmond CA, sent to my grandfather, Robert Buchanan Curtis, Staten Island NY she writes: "Alfred is to take his place as head of the Richmond M. Kinley Lodge of Masons, Dec. 19" She asks my grandfather to "write him a loving brotherly letter" congratulating him on this position but not to send it home, but to "Certainteed Products Corporation"Bin-4. I have two questions. Are there Mason records accessible to me to find out who this Alfred is? and has anyone heard of this company? My grandfather was sent to CA in 1886 as an orphan. This F. Adele Bennett signed the letter as Your Other Mother, F. Adele Bennett. If I can find out who Alfred is I may be able to find out who F. Adele is and figure out why Robert was sent to CA while he had relatives in CT and NY! Thank you, Linda
