Jones died on Dec. 14, 1999, at Diamond Ridge Care Center in Pittsburg. Born on Nov. 25, 1919, in Little Rock, Ark., she was 80. She lived in Davis and Woodland for many years before moving to Antioch. While living in Antioch, she owned and operated a day care center for many years. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Woodland. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Jones, in 1986. She is survived by her six children, Dale Jones of Sacramento and his wife, Nita, David Jones of Carson City, Nev., and his wife, Donna, Fran Leon of Antioch and her husband, Joe, George Jones of Texas, Russ Jones of Red Bluff and his wife, Sharon, and Fred Jones of Carson City, Nev., and his wife, Annie. She also leaves 22 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. She leaves her three brothers, Henry Bennett of Fresno and his wife, Geneva, Raymond Bennett of Idaho and his wife, Bea, and Clarence (Chuck) Bennett of Fresno and his wife, Lori; and her two sisters, Katie White of Arkansas and Iva Bennett of Kansas. Friends are invited to attend the funeral service at noon Monday at Davis Funeral Chapel, 116 D St., Davis. Burial will follow at the Davis Cemetery.
