Kindelt Janice Lee Kindelt died Dec. 28, 2001, at her home in Woodland following a battle with pancreatic cancer. She was 65 years old. She was born Nov. 9, 1936, in Richmond, the second of Harry and Dorothy Clarine's two daughters. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, stepmother and grandmother. She is survived by her husband, J. Edward Kindelt of Woodland; parents, Harry and Dorothy Clarine of Woodland; daughter, Gailene Bigart and her husband Joe of Sacramento; sons, Zane Wingard and his wife Shari of Paradise, Kent Wingard and his wife Gina of Winters and Kevin Wingard of Woodland; and stepson, K.C. Kindelt and his wife Allison of Woodland. She also is survived by her grandchildren, Olivia and Dylan Wingard of Winters, Brandon and Garrett Monroe of Sacramento, and Justin, Marcus and Andrew Kindelt, all of Woodland; a sister, Gloria Cornett and her husband Bob of Fairfield; a cousin, Harriet Reeves of Richmond; a dear friend, Amber Langdon of Sacramento; brothers-in-law, Dave Kindelt and his wife Ladine of Woodland and Dan Kindelt of Sacramento; and her mother-in-law, Johnni Kindelt of Woodland. Family and friends are invited to attend the memorial service Friday at 10:30 a.m. at St. John's United Church of Christ, 434 Cleveland St. in Woodland. The family requests that any gifts in her name be made to the Kaiser Permanente Hospice Program, 2025 Morse Ave., Sacramento, CA 95825 or to the American Cancer Society.
