Mr. Doty was a veteran of World War II and retired as personnel officer and employment superintendent of the Internal Revenue Service in San Francisco. He served on the Parks & Recreation Commission in Pinole and other task forces and enjoyed music, cooking, salmon fishing and golf. He was a member of the Pinole Senior Center and served as past president of the Board of Directors. He was also a member of Pinole AARP No. 3553, lifetime member of the Elks Lodge No. 1703 and the American Legion, Yolo Post No. 77. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Margie L. Doty; sons, Albert Wayne Doty and wife Maryanne of Gilroy and James Michael Royer and wife Cathy of Belchertown, Ma.; grandsons, Michael Wayne Doty and wife Rosa of Salinas, Brett Adam Royer of Belchertown, Ma.; and great-granddaughters, Alexis Leanne Doty and Miranda Rose Doty of Salinas; sisters, Adah Summer of Martinez, Martha Kliewer and Eleanor Peart of Woodland. Hi, I'm looking for a Charles A Marshall, married to Phyllis, who was living in Richmond in the late 1940's and early 1950's (according to the City Directories.) Then in the mid 1950's, he moved to San Pablo. But he "disappeared" from the phone books in 1960. He may have been an employee of the Post Office. I haven't found anything on the CADI or SSDI that fits what we know about him (b 1926 in Missouri) Does this family sound familiar to anyone? Does the county have a complete list of deaths that occurred in the county? I am looking in the 1970's. If I have the exact date of death can I write to the county and will they locate the information for me? Where would I write? And what is the cost for the search? Thank you for any help. Hello, The California Senate Committee on Local Government is undertaking a review of the Public Cemetery District statutes with an eye to reforming the entire law. I will be attending these meetings as an advisor to the Working Group and would like to hear from anyone who has experienced any problems with the way in which some districts may be operating. If you have served on the board of trustees of a public cemetery district and have any suggestions that would assist the districts to function better, please let me know that also.
