I found out that my father was born in Fosteria CA, not Sutter Creek as I had thought. I can't seem to find Fosteria. Is/was it close to Sutter Creek? Would a birth certificate for a Fosteria birth be filed in the same place as a Sutter Creek birth certificate? What newspaper might have been published in 1900 that might have reported a birth?
