Hello. I am hoping for a clue to my biggest genealogical mystery. The mystery: In 1899 Ray Laughton married Stella Tripp in Angels Camp. He was 25 and a resident of Angels Camp. She was 19 and a resident of Stockton. They had a child and a very short marriage. The child was adopted by John James Schmadeke. I can find hide nor hair of Ray (or Schmadeke for that matter).
