Hi Dru: Well now, if we could only get in touch with the person who posted this query back in '97 maybe we could both make some connections! I know nothing, unfortunately, about the CUNEOS, but am researching instead, the LENT family in said county. You can see the original post by this person on the Calaveras Co. Archives. No postal address was given, just a [now] invalid email. D ------Original Message------ From: "JDLewis" <jdlewis@goldrush.com> To: Diane Faye <califmom@myself.com>, Calaveras Co. Ther are 3 CUNEO families in the area. One in the Jackson-Clinton area in Amador Co., and the other two are located in Mokelumne Hill and the San Andreas-Fricot City area. I have not found a relationship yet.....but maybe it is in Italy. In Italy, the CUNEO name is like SMITH here in America. I am part of the San Andreas-Fricot City CUNEOS. My grandfather, who is presently living next door to me, is 93 years old.....he was born and raised here in the area. I do have some information on my family side of the CUNEOS.
