    1. [CACALAVE] Johnson & Fannin in Stanislaus
    2. Norby Family
    3. Hi Lois, It appears that Vina died in Altaville which is in Calaveras county.....I know a researcher in that area that could transcribe her death certificate and maybe get the name and address of the informant.... If you want actual copies of the obits from the Modesto Bee I can do get copies for you but it looks like the obit didn't name surviving children..... I did search the birth indexes to see if I could locate Johnson/Fannin children names since it appears that they came to CA shortly after marrying. These were the only ones I could find: JOHNSON,JACKIE,RAY,09/06/1941,MALE,FANNIN,COLUSA JOHNSON,PAMELA,CHRISTINE,12/07/1954,FEMALE,FANNIN,STANISLAUS JOHNSON,RONALD,D,04/05/1969,MALE,FANNIN,ALAMEDA Here's a marriage for Pamela JOHNSON 000099600 07-AUG-1971 07-AUG-1971 Groom: CHARLES RAYMOND EARN Bride: PAMELA CHRISTINE JOHNSON Pam's child EARN,CHRISTOP,S,01/19/1974,MALE,JOHNSON,STANISLAUS EARN, CHRISTOPHER SCOTT 01/19/1974 9902399-00 PAMELA CHRISTENE JOHNSON CHARLES RAYMOND EARN Male Single EARN, CHRISTOPHER SCOTT 01/19/1974 0000240-00 PAMELA CHRISTENE JOHNSON CHARLES RAYMOND EARN Male Single Two listings in the phone book for Charles R. I'm cc'ing the fellow researcher who should be able to help you in Calaveras county. If you would like me to look at Pam's birth certificate to see if she is the daughter of Jesse and Vina I can do that for you. It could be that other children were born to him before he married Vina.... Colleen Norby _____________________________ JOHNSON Modesto Bee, Modesto California. Jesse R.
