Hello, I am new to the group and have recently found out that some of my family settled in the Murphys area. I am searching for more information on the Bridges surname that would have come to the area in the early to mid 1900's. I heard there is a Rose Bridges ____ buried in a Murphys cemetery, but that she had a different last name when she died. Also, Sarah Jane Bridges (Caughman?) married into the Isabell family (not sure on the spelling) and that she had around 12 children. I would love to find out more on that part of the family. That would have been my grandfather's sister's children. Also, Sarah's father, James Monroe Bridges was supposed to have come to the area as well. This line of Bridges would be from Arkansas. I have a searchable tree on my webpage if anyone wishes to take a peek. Hope to hear from someone that may have some information for me. I don't even know the name of the cemeteries in Murphys.
