Married: Elizabeth Reese; b. 1810 Somerset Co., Shady Twp., Pa.; d. 1886 Indiana Co., PA; Buried Johnstown Cem. They had 17 children that I am aware of: Mary m. George Snehl/Schnell Catherine Susan m. Edward Wood Benjamin m. Elizabeth Lichtenfelts/Lichenfeld Eliza m. Henry or John Brubaker Julia Ann m. Morris/Maurice Rice Abraham m. Mary Burkett Wesley or Godfrey Ellen m. Charles Askins John m. Maria Callahan Nancy m. Edward Covis/Colbert Robert m. (1) Clara Harris; (2) Julia Layman Rachel m. John Messenger/Messinger Harriet m. Ebenezer S. Callahan Cornelius James (died in infancy) William G. (died age 4) If Reese was Granny Reese's married name, then I suspect she was a Cable and married a Reese. Just a thought.
