Hello, all, I'm new to the mailing list, so would like to introduce our Cable family line. My husband's maternal great-great grandmother was Emily Jane Cable, born May 28, 1853 in Kentucky. Her parents were H. O. (most likely Henry Owsley) and Elizabeth (Ramsey) Cable. Henry Owsley Cable was born 1830 in Kentucky and married Elizabeth Ramsey on March 24, 1852. He died 1914 in Rockcastle Co, KY. Emily married James K. Thompson, also from the Rockcastle Co, KY area, on Oct 3, 1870. Several years later they moved to Montgomery Co, IN, near Waynetown, where they lived until their deaths. We would be interested in learning more about this family.
