February 8, 1901 Amador Dispatch (extract)(obituary) O'er the Dark River Mrs. Aurelia Marre was born in the Province of Genoa, Italy, about 57 years ago. Married Mr. Marre when she was 19. She came to Jackson with her husband in 1869. Mother of ten children, three of whom are already dead. Mr. Marre died in 1886. She was the sister of Enrico & Alfonso Ginocchio. Eldest daughter, Mrs. Victoria Gagliardo of San Francsico; sons, Enrico Marre, Charles Marre, Joseph Marre, Mrs. Lena Spagnoli all of Jackson; Not at bedside Louis Marre of San Francsico & Alfonso Marre of Jackson.
