Judy...that possibility makes the story even more sad. I see how you came up with the October date but how does one come up with it by the other method? I've seen it used a number of times but sure didn't work for me. I lost Emelio, brother to Adolph, maybe he ended up in San Francisco too. A cousin recently sent me photo copies of family pictures & many were taken in San Francisco, but most of the family lived in Calaveras County. Another thread to untangle. Thanks for your help.
