Exerpt from Amador Dispatch October 18, 1901 Jackson is a busy town. From early in the morning until late at night teams are coming and going in all directions, hauling wood timbers, provisions & machinery to and fro, and our people seem to all be busy at some occupation. A gentleman said to us the other day that Jackson was the liveliest and most bustling town he had been in for sometime. Jackie in California [email protected]
