Jackie and I first got together on that list since our ancestors have similar roots and names!! About the National. I am sure Jackie can get the name of the current owner before I can, but I wanted to tell you that I do have a copy of a letter my Great Grandfather wrote to my Grandmother in 1933 that is on National Hotel stationary with John F. Vicini's name on the letterhead. Jackie if you can't get the owners name let me know and I will ask. Steve, your picture on the Amador website of the Manzinita Hotel. It may have been a boarding house out what is now Jackson Gate Road. Most of the resturants out that way started as boarding houses.
