DEATH - Mrs. James Riley, of Amador City, the daughter of Mrs. & Mrs. Richard Vance. Born in Volcano on 2/21/1860. Died in Stockton on 5/31/1905. Leaves 2 children, Mrs. H.P. Gallager and Edwin Dabb. She married James in 1881. Her grandchild Ruby Gallager died on 2/17/1905. A month later her brother John Vance died at Placerville. Also leaves her mother, Mrs. Richard A. Vance and sister Mrs. Leon Rogers and another brother Richard Vance. Charles Caldemartori was burned while putting out a fuse (I think this is what it said) when it flashed. DEATH - Samuel J. Cissos or Cis-na (it was spelled both ways in the article) at County Hospital on June 8th. Native of Ohio, aged 75. (no relatives listed.) BIRTH - Dr. & Mrs. Quinn, on 5/31/1905, a daughter. Miss Alma Froelich will be married on Wednesday, 6/14 to Mr. David Robinson. Invitations have been sent out for the marriage of Mr. John Knuckey to Miss Laura Tuson. The ceremony to take place on Wednesday 6/14.
