I am sure Jackie can get the name of the current owner before I can, but I wanted to tell you that I do have a copy of a letter my Great Grandfather wrote to my Grandmother in 1933 that is on National Hotel stationary with John F. Vicini's name on the letterhead. Jackie if you can't get the owners name let me know and I will ask. >> Lee, I am told also that most of the Vicini's settled in Placerville. John's son I guess, went to Sutter to work in one of the mines. Geez, I have some notes, need to go thru this stack and find them. John is buried at a Mausoleum in Jackson. So hoping an obit will reveal alot for me. In its hayday it might have been a very nice hotel. Not knowing what the area looks like I have no way of visualizing what it might have looked like back in the good old days!! Thank you for responding!!! Jean
