    2. DEATH - Miss Lois Hannock, daughter of Mr. & Mrs. E. W. Hannock of Jackson, died suddenly on Tuesday morning. Dr. Gail was summoned, but she had became unconscious and died without regaining consciousness. DEATH - John "Jack" Colton died in San Francisco. He was born and reared in San Andreas. He leaves his widowed mother and 5 brothers (no names mentioned) The trial of Dr. Staples (he was accused of poisoning his wife last July). The attorneys requested a change of venue. This was denied. The following jurors were selected: W.H. Prouty, L.C. Coratto, G.W. Vandenent, J.A. Sohn, C.P. Jordan, Max Ladar, Samuel Hughes, G.E. Evens, E. Forbes, W.H. Sharp, Thomas D. Anderson, and T.C. Sowers. MARRIAGE - John Guisto & Mary Parano were married on Thursday, 4/27. James Jury & Miss Ethel Schneebly of Sutter Creek were married last week. MARRIAGE - Agnes Fullen, former resident of Jackson married in San Francisco on Wednesday, 4/26 to Mr. John Magee MARRIAGE - John W. Todd & Patti Benton on Saturday 4/29. Both of Electra, Amador County.
