A Christmas Wedding At the early hour of six Christmas morning, Miss Inga Kay and Herbert Bright were united in marriage at the home of the bride's father, Mr. Wallace Kay, by the Rev. Mr. Tuson. Miss Jenkins of Lincoln acting as bridesmaid and Mr. Wilbur Williams of Ione as best man. The house had been tastily decorated by the girl friends of the bride with holly and green. Only members of the families were present with the exception of two lady friends. After the ceremony a dainty breakfast was served, and at 7:40 o'clock amid a shower of rice and trailing shoes the happy couple departed to spend their honeymoon in San Francisco and Palo Alto. Edwin Rust, who is a student at the State University, came home Wednesday evening for the holiday vacation. B.C. O'Neill, superintendent of the Del Monte mine in Calaveras county, spent Christmas with his family here. Mr. & Mrs. H.E. Potter of Plymouth took their Christmas dinner with Mrs. Potter's mother, Mrs. J.B. Parker, in this town. Miss Hilda Clough, her mother and Miss Eva Leak took their Christmas dinner with the Bradshaws, at Grass Valley, near Pine Grove. Charles Rothe, of San Francisco has located in Jackson and will teach all band instruments, violin, cornet and clarionet. Residence at Henry Weil's. Terms reasonable. Miss Madge Rust who is attending the College of Pharmacy at San Francisco, came up Wednesday evening to spend a couple of days at home. She will go back tomorrow. Dr. Fine, who has been resident physcian at Electra for some time past, left there last week for his former home at Oakland where he will engage in practice with his father. Mrs.E.A. Pitois, mother of Mrs. Theresa Gilbert, Mrs. Fannie Bonnefoy and Emil Pitois, has been quite sick during the last three weeks, but is improving under the care of Dr. Schacht. Master Leslie Cramer, son of H. Cramer, jr. , has been very sick for over a week with la grippe. We are pleased to be able to say that Dr. Endicott, the attending physcian, reports that the little man is better. The Rev. W. Tuson and family desire to thank the many kind friends of Jackson, Sutter Creek, Mokelumne Hill, Ione and Paloma for their greetings and substantial Christmas gifts; wishing them all a prosperous spiritual year. J.F. Parks, superintendent of the Kennedy mine, came home Tuesday evening. The Dispatch is informed that he looks well, notwithstanding his recent accident, and, carrying his arm in a sling, is able to look after the usual business of his official position. C.H. McKenney, Amador county tailor and draper, Ione, Cal, will make monthly trips to Jackson, Sutter Creek, Amador City, Drytown and Plymouth, and will carry with him 500 of the latest and most up to date samples in season.
