Jean, The National Hotel still stands at one end of the main street of Jackson. I was planning on my Mom and I staying overnight there til we saw the delapidated condition of the rooms and heard the loud bar room noise downstairs from the room we were looking at. It's just possible that it hasn't changed a bit since it was built. Jackie can tell us more about it. I don't believe that she goes there for evening entertainment; just that she does live in Jackson.
