    2. DEATH - J.S. "Jim" Hammond, Superintendent of Rawhide mine was killed in a cave-in last Friday. This weeks accidents: Son of Mr. & Mrs. G.L. Weshard was bitten in the face by a dog owned by Antone Pichard on Monday. Mrs. Earl Parady, who lives on the Amador side of Mokelumne Hill, was heating milk for her infant son last Monday evening, on an alcohol lamp, when it exploded. She smothered the flames. No one was injured. While running with a pen in her hand, the daughter of Mr. & Mrs. C.G. Monroe, fell and stuck the pen in the middle of her forehead. Dr. Phillips removed the pen, the point had broken off in her forehead. BORN - Mr. & Mrs. Dan Dovovan, in Jackson, on 5/26/1905, a son. Mr. & Mrs. J. A. Haverstick of Jackson Gate on 5/30/1905, a daughter. DEATH - John J. Trimble in County hospital on 6/1/1905. Native of Mo., aged 81. (no relatives listed) William Pellow, the blind man, and William Williams, left yesterday for Old England. Pellow is to visit his sisters and Williams to visit family.
