The deceased formerly resided in Amador County and for over fifteen years lived in the vicinity of Butte City, near Jackson. Mrs. Stewart was a native of Rochester, New York, and was well known in this county where she had a host of friends. She leaves a husband, A.L. Stewart of Butte City.
