(Unless they want it printed, that is.) This could possibly be one of yours. Passing of a Native Son E.A. Yates, AKA Amador Yates, step-son of W. B. Sanders, died at the residence of his step-father on Volcano Street last Monday night from Bright's disease. Born in Amador County, was 44 years old. Son of John & Sarah Yates. His father died before he was born. Mother now dead too. Leaves wife & a 7 year old daughter; a sister, Mrs. Sharenbroch; a step-brother, Ransome Sanders. Member of A.O.U.W. (whatever that is).
