    3. Sometimes it takes a team effort to figure these things out. Thanks Bob, for being so quick. I am naive enough to miss something like this too. I think we can all appreciate your attention to this detail. I agree with both of you. I don't care to be a part of any proprietary venture. We're in it for the fun and love, and excitement of discovery for ourselves . . . not to line anyone's pocketbook. I expressed my feelings about this issue during my first month of membership . . . to the point of probably exasperating some of you new friends on the list. Nothing makes me more obsessive in genealogy than to think that someone is lurking around trying to make a buck off my dead relatives. But, we all know they are out there in the bushes . . . writing newspaper articles, assembling old newspaper articles, creating tourist booklets, and more. I clearly identified two persons I knew of living in Amador County who were doing this, but others have more recently identified themselves. There are subtle ways of dealing with these situations.
