HASLAM Retired from Bank of America Frank E. Haslam, 86, died on Tuesday, November 21, 2000 at SunBridge Care Center in Jackson. Mr. Haslam was born April 30, 1914 in Arma, Kansas and attended school there. In 1941, he moved to California. He served in the Navy during World War II in the South Pacific as a Chief Petty Officer. He worked 34 years for Bank of America at branches in Napa, Garberville and retiring in 1979, after 13 years in the Sutter Creek branch. He was a member of the Faith Lutheran Church in Pioneer and a longtime member of the Sutter Creek Lions Club. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Eunice Haslem of Sutter Creek; son, Ralph Haslam of Pollock Pines; brother, John Haslam of Louisville, Colorado; sisters, Pearle Lauglin and Ruth Butler both of Pittsburg, Kansas; and two grandchildren. Visitation will be on Friday, November 24 from 3 to 7 p.m. at Daneri Mortuary in Jackson. The funeral service will take place on Saturday November 25 at 1 p.m. at the Faith Lutheran Church in Pioneer. Interment will be private for the family at Sunset View Cemetery in Martell. Arrangements are being handled by Daneri Mortuary in Jackson. Memorial contributions may be made to the Faith Lutheran Church, 22601 Highway 88, Pioneer, 95666 or to the charity of donors choice.
