Taken from Ledger Dispatch May 5, 2000 published in Jackson, California CAROL LOUISE JOHNSON Longtime Amador resident Carol Louise Johnson, 81, died on Wednesday, May 3, 2000, at Sutter Amador Hospital in Jackson. Mrs. Johnson was born in Kenosha, Wisconsin on December 25, 1918. A resident of Amador County for the last 52 years, she was a nurse at the Amador County Hospital for 15 years and was active with Hospice of Amador County. She is survived by her husband of more than 56 years, Allen James Johnson of Jackson; daughters, Louise Seebold of San Ramon, Denise Delaney of Front Royal, Virginia; sons, Allen Johnson Jr. of Pine Grove and Philip Johnson of Ione; a sister, Dorothy Ringnald of Illinois and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Memorial contributions may be sent to Hospice of Amador County, P.O. Box 595, Jackson, Ca. 95642. There are no memorial services planned.
