Has anyone been successful in locating church records for Jackson or Volcano (Catholic or Protestant) for the period 1860 to 1900? If so, I would very much appreciate the particulars on what types of information you were successful in finding and where the information was found. I have been advised that St. Patrick's in Jackson has nothing and the Catholic Diocese in Sacramento is "doubtful" as to the success of finding any, although they will look. I have not tried Protestant sources. Any pointers along these lines would be very welcome. My regards, Deborah
