I have a question. Was it common for an Italian to request in his will that he be buried as a Catholic? My Great grandfather made this request in his will and I always thought that if you were Italian it was presumed that you would be buried Catholic. Giacomo Raggio's will is at the archives in Jackson. There are also some deeds to property in this file. Mostly land transactions between Giocomo Raggio, John Devoto, Gio Batto (Giovanni Battista) Botto, Pietro Gatto, and Giovani Labardini. Carol in Reno
