Does anyone know where to find the old NATURALIZATION records for Amador -- specifically the District Court records? Francesco Giusto was naturalized as Francis Justo in October 1856 in District Court, Jackson, according to his later registration in SF (1868 supplement to the SF Great Register). I'd like to see the naturalization to find out when and where he filed his statement of intent -- or it he filed one, as he most likely came to the US as a minor. Several of the early California pioneers I'm tracking filed statements of intent in Boston (which can be full of information) or NYC (almost useless). The naturalizations are indexed at NARA for some courts in Boston and NY, but the intents don't seem to be.
