I have a story that I wrote up when I first started my research at the age of 20. I was so new at this that I didn't even date it or write down what paper I got it from. If memory serves me correct, and that could be a joke sometimes, the story was from the thirties to the fifties. If any one has information on this story or this Runyon, that would be great. So here goes!!! Deputy Marshall of Redmond Ends His Life: Body of F.P. Runyon is found in his room. Oakland Dec. 20, ????. Deputy Marshall F.P. Runyon of Piedmont committed suicide by shooting himself in the head with his own revolver in his room at 31 Jerome Ave, some time between 11 o'clock last night and this afternoon. City Marshall Foster missed his deputy and broke in to his room at 6pm this evening, where he found the body. Runyon left a note at the Coroner saying that he ended his own life because he was tired of Existence. Runyon was 42 years old and unmarried. He formerly lived in the city (San Francisco ???). He was the victim of a drug habit. (How Sad) Kathy!!
