    3. Following are the extracts for the month of August 1882: August 5, 1882, Vol. 23, No. 47 DIED.Edward Pearson , a carpenter, was found dead in his cabin, at Plymouth, one day this week. He was a man about 45 years of age and had been on a drunken spree for several weeks. Deceased was a native of New Hampshire. Mrs. Green, wife of Chas. Green, of Plymouth, died last Saturday, and was buried in the P;ymouth cemetery on Monday. August 12, 1882, Vol. 23, No. 48 BORN.At Plymouth, Aug. 10, 1882, to Mr. and Mrs. Frank Warren, a son. DIED.Mr. David Robinson, an old gentleman of high respectability,about 70 years of age , having a wife and several grown sons of middle age residing on Shake Ridge, above Volcano, committed suicide last Monday night, by hanging himself to a peach tree back of his residence. He was buried on the ridge not far from his residence. August 19, 1882, Vol. 23, No. 49 MARRIED.On the 13th of August, by Rev. E. M. Stuart, Mr. Emile Petois, of Jackson, to Miss Ella Pounds, of San Joaquin County. August 26, 1882, Vol. 23, No. 50 MARRIED.In Sutter Creek, Aug. 22, 1882, by the Rev. E. E. Dodge, W. L. Strawbridge to Miss L. Styles,both of Sutter Creek. DIED.Near Jackson, Aug. 22, 1882, Thomas S. Clark, a native of Massachusettes, aged 73 years, 8 months and 28 days. In Ione City, Aug 22, 1882, Hiram Farnham of Lancha Plana, a native of Pennsylvania, aged about 50 years. Llew Jack
