I came across his name when I did the research reading the 1905 and 1906 Amador Dispatch. I think I read an article regarding his marriage and I believe he and his bride went to San Francisco for their honeymoon. Money Order receipts from an ebay auction. There is one dated Nov. 13, 1906 purchased by "John Daneri, Sutter Creek" to I. Magnin & Co. in S.F.
