Rev. N. R. Peck, who years ago was located in Amador County, died at Pacific Grove last Tuesday. He was a pioneer and one of the best known Methodist preachers on the Coast. Mrs. Mary Anderson, who met her brother, Sergeant Will S. Horton, at Sacramento and accompanied him to Sutter Creek, where she has been visiting with her sister, Mrs. Maggie Shealor, will leave in a few days to join her husband at Redlands, where they will hereafter reside.
