The Amador County Archives is an amazing place in terms of its collection! If you have an opportunity to visit, DO IT! I brought home several pages of documents which contain various family names beginning with the letter "G" and, in a few instances "F" and "H" and would be happy to do "look-ups" for those of you who may be searching for info. Specifically, I have 1892 voter registrations for the Jackson area "Finn" to "Hayden"; "Gartlin" to Ginter"; 1894 voter registrations for "Gallagher" to "Graham" and "Gooding" to "Granville" 1868 Poll List -- Jackson Precinct "Frei" to "Holtz" 1874 Birth Register - McCoy, Quin, and Going 1875 or 1876 (difficult to read) Birth Register - Samuels, Gairo, Davis, Wall, Salubi, Nattan, Gairo 1914 School Register for the Kennedy Flat School listing names of all students attending that year, with ages.
