    3. I picked up a county code list at the California State Library but I believe you can get one also thru the California GenWeb Project. Anyway, San Francisco is 90 and 60 is shown as City - Alameda. -----Original Message----- From: Jackie <kimmee@volcano.net> To: CAAMADOR-L@rootsweb.com <CAAMADOR-L@rootsweb.com> Date: Saturday, March 10, 2001 8:10 PM Subject: [CAAMADOR] Where to look for codes for counties... >Can someone tell me where to look for the numeric codes for California >counties? 2. Diana Knight
    3. Hi I am searching for information on the family of Abner P. CLOUGH, an inhabitant of mostly Amador County during the 1850-1880 era. His wife's name was Caroline F. (last name unknown). He lived in the Amador County area and died in Pine Grove, Amador, CA in 1888. He also lived in Volcano, Amador, CA near his brother, Orson CLOUGH. Any information derived from census material would be extremely helpful. I need the birth place for he and his wife, along with the names of any children within the household. A welcome addition would be information as to where the parents of Abner and Caroline were from. Thank You Diana Busby-Knight Oregon

    3. Jackie --- Thanks for posting these. I'd found John's but not his sister's. For those of you tracking Giusto, John Alexander Guisto was the son of Frank Giusto of Sacramento and his wife Maria Raggio (who was apparently the sister of Julia Raggio Curotto Ginocchio). The surname of the daughter reporting his information was Mary Ready. It's an interesting set of spellings --- Frank's obit said Guisto; Maria's Giusto and her probate record, signed by son John A. Giusto, said she was Giusto aka Guisto. Lucinda Girolomi was John A's sister. 1. [CAAMADOR] MYSTERY MCBEE TWIN SONS CA?
    2. John & Elnora Wyrick
    3. Searching for descendants of John Garvin McBee, our family history reported that he was in CA, 1850-1860 and fathered Twin Sons, that history does not say he was married to the mother of those boys or give any names or locations. I do find him living alone, on the 1860 Census of Calaveras Co., in San Andreas, Dwelling # 1905, family # 1793, John G. McBee, 36 year old, male, working as a Miner, born in TN. He lives beside a Merchant, Robert M Redman age 28 , born in England and his family, wife Esther age 28, born in MS and their female child age 1/12, name is unreadable, born in CA. John Garvin may have abandoned the Woman, and their sons, as I find him back in Van Zandt Co., TX on the 1870 Census, living with his sister and her family, where he married my Great Grandmother in 1877 and had 6 more children. I have just gotten the copies of divorce petition filed (1858) by his first wife in Kaufman Co., TX; which charges that he abandoned her and their first child a daughter (Narcissa Jane) in 1851 and disregarding his marriage vows, was currently living in the State of CA with another woman. Since finding that part of the family history is true we want to find out if the part about the twin sons is also true. We know that John Garvin was married to Amanda M. (Dawson) Nichols in Amador Co., CA in 1865, newspaper records show that he deserted her in 1867, there is no indication that she would be the mother of the reported TWIN SONS. Does any of this sound familiar, is there someone else with similar Family History. Appreciate ALL help we can get on this. See our Home Page for pictures and more information; http://www.familytreemaker.com/users/w/y/r/Elnora--F-Wyrick/ Thanks, Elnora Frances Cook-Wyrick
