    3. This is going to take some commitment from each of we volunteers. With my work/family commitment, I'll probably have to extend the loan period. I'm anxious to get into it, mostly to SEE the old newspapers. Some of you are retired, some work. Nevertheless, it seems we are have enthusiasm for this important project. For some period of time, Art is going to be a little overwhelmed by the submissions . . . so it's not a matter of urgency to hit him all at once with submissions. He'll take them as slowly as we can submit. Brakes are okay. 3. Art, One of the photos got zapped from Chapter 2. It's just got one of those little red x's up in the corner of the block. Would you consider creating some links from the website to these other Amador Co. websites . . . like the one that we saw earlier about the county today & historic sites, and also the one Jackie told us about . . . the one about the Kennedy Mine? Seems like these would be of interest to anyone happening along. Steve

    3. I must have missed the address for the website everyone keeps talking about. Would you please put it on the screen for me. Also, if anyone finds any reference to a Benedetto Ginochio I would appreciate the information. Would like to find what the relation to Alfonso and Enrico Ginochio is. Benedetto is buried in the cemetery at the Catholic Church, along with his wife Anciola I have a picture of Charles Ginochio, who I understand was in a fight with a few other good Italians and was sent to San Quentin for 5 years, due to the death of one of them. This was in February of 1880. Anyone know of it? There should be a large item in the Amador Dispatch. Would be willing to pay for a copy. Any help is appreciated. Betty

    1. Re: [CAAMADOR-L] pictures
    2. I have a scanner. I will send them to Art and he can decide if he wants to use them. I have an entire album from people in Sutter Creek. I also have a picture of John Truran who was a miner in Sutter Creek. On another note, I order three films from the LDS. Only two came in. One is a death index and the other two are Declarations of intentions. I will see which two came in and I will do look ups for the three weeks that I have them. Diane

    1. [CAAMADOR-L] pictures
    2. Hi all, I do have a lot pictures. One is a tin type of two young women who born in Sutter Creek. I also have two of when they were little. The picture I find the most interesting is of a group of people. I'm not even sure who they are. It is most likely in Sutter Creek. They are on a porch. The women have bonnets on. The street is a dirt street. To me it looks typical of what I would think an old western town would look like. I would like a second opinion. The picture was in bad shape. Yesterday I took it to the drugstore and copied it. I am also copying all of the tin types. Is that what you want? Diane

    3. Anybody taken a look at the photo section on the website lately? They are great! I hope more of you will post photos with Art so he can add them to the collection . . . people, cemeteries, buildings, and more! I just sent Chapter 3 to Art, so look for that too. Jackie, as soon as he starts posting some of the items you found in the newspapers, alert us. We're all anxious to see what's up. I'm guessing that my film will arrive this coming week. Can't wait! We all appreciate seeing all the lookups lately. Saves us a lot of time & energy. Steve
