    3. Hi Gang, twas a beautiful day here no rain, so so so sick of rain, actually got to plant flowers.. On the film, got half way through 1803 , trying to get it all copied before it goes back. How are the rest of you doing? I do not hear anything, you all must be too busy, as I see you have over 1100 names in the data base now. GOOD WORK . I will be feeding information in for quite some time as there are about 4 pages of local news in each issue and 4 for each month, 1802,03,04 are big papers ,so check for new names all the time. Betty Hancock, I got your letter, was not necessary to reimburse, I do not want reimbursed for what I mailed out. thanks is enough. love Abigail How about some chatter its too quite with Steve gone.when I turn this box on and do not see any chatter I keep thinking that I bounced off again. so how about it? For the new Genealogist out there www.toolbox.com is a great site to learn how.

    3. Hi guys...scanning my notes from the Amador Dispatch looking for something else, I ran across this: Was the July 6 1900 newspaper & was an obituary on a Mrs. Adams who died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. DuFrense. Her husbands name was Arthur Adams & she had children Henry Ekel, John Ekel beside the daughter. Article lists those present at time of death & one was her grandson, Eddie Bawden. Jackie in Jackson

    3. I have fixed a small bug in the database that prevented a search being done when using a first name. Now you can search the database using the first name, the surname, or a combination of the two. This should make it easier for you to find a bad entry that needs modification or deletion. We're over 1100 entries in the database now! Art Michaelis Amador County Coordinator USGenWeb Project http://www.rootsweb.com/~caamador/ [email protected]

You are doing a great job and I for one of many am very thankful for your hard work. Will be looking forward to see what's "here" when I get back. I've traced BAWDENs in Camborne Parish, Cornwall, England; they were miners. 3. Bob Juch, What is wrong with giving your data to someone thats going to write a book, thats where we get most of our data from, it only helps future generations, unless your going to write a book using the same data, ? ???? I know I sure go through all the books in our genealogy library, and I do not care who wrote them or how much money they made, I just care if the information is accurate. Abigail
