Looking for the family of Joseph Henry Stickney, born in Marquette County, MI, about 1880. He died in Oakland, CA, on April 11, 1942, and was buried somewhere in Alameda, CA, he had lived for 35 years. The Marquette paper only gave notice of his death, and his survivors being brothers Frank of Marquette, Arthur of LaSalle, IL, Orel of Virginia, MN, and sister Irene of Marquette. Also listed were his wife Marie and "three sons, one of whom is serving in the United States Army in Texas." Is anyone able to check Alameda newspaper archives for his obituary? Does anyone know of this family? Joseph was a younger brother to our grandfather James of Virginia, MN.
