I think I have done everything possible through official channels. I have a death certificate. Someone looked up his obit for me, and there was not a single family member mentioned it. The same kind soul went to the Lone Tree Cemetary. The grave said: "We Loved You Pops" indicating a family, but nothing more. I've emailed and written to just about every address I could find of people named Simons living in Hayward. Most of them were Russian Jews, not Portuguese. I was hoping someone on this list from Hayward would remember a Simons family, maybe someone they went to school with. Recently, through the white pages I discovered there's a patch of Simons living in Agoura Hills, (which is out of the context of this list I understand). Jessie Moniz
