I have a death certificate for James Loftus Thomas who died at Alameda County Hospital, July 5, 1937. I am trying to obtain more information about his life. He worked as a Watchman for Mills College. On his daughter's birth certificate in 1919 his occupation was listed as boiler maker at (looks like) Moore's Shipyards). Does anyone have access to any newspapers of the time for an obituary?
