Can anyone recommend newspapers in Alameda county to which I could fax "searching" letters? (Looking for the descendants of DAVID FERRIS/FARIAS SIMONS. Died in HAYWARD, CA in 1979 at the age of 80. Worked for Del P. Flint paint contractors. Lived on Pompano Ave. NOK-HILDA SIMONS. Bermudian of Portuguese descent.) I faxed an "in search of" letter to a weekly newspaper called The Acorn. Does read this paper? I think it is published in the Seven Oakes, Agoura Hills area.
